FOTD & MAC Light Over Dark Mineralize Blush!

I was on Kim K's blog today and saw her makeup looked amazing in her latest post! They were going for a more natural look. I love how bronzed and glowy this looked.. so I tried something like this out.. liquid winged liner on top, white on the waterline and plum smudged under my bottom lashes. My lash line is more on the purple side though.. because we all know how I love my purple!!

Kim's look...

Doesn't she look a little like J-lo now?

My look!

FACE:
Cinema Secrets Moisture Spray
Make Up Forever HD Foundation #150
MAC Studio Finish Concealer NW25
Ben Nye Neutral Set Translucent Powder (under my eyes)
MAC "So Ceylon" MSF
MAC "Dainty" Mineralize Blush

EYES:
MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow Trio (LE) in "Interview" (I used the brown in my crease)
Sephora colorful eyeshadow in strass no#5 (went over my crease with this)
MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in "Love Connection" (filled my lid with this)
MAC Folie & Top Hat eyeshadow (lower lash line)
Milani Eye Tech Liquid Liner
MAC White eye pencil
Maybelline XXL Extensions Mascara
Ardell Faux Lashes

LIPS:
MAC Hue Lipstick
Milani Lip Gloss (a pink pearly color.. the name rubbed off)

Moving on, here are is what MAC Light Over Dark looks like on my cheeks..

(Pictured left, I have nothing on my cheeks except High Beam. Pictured right, I have applied my MAC Light over Dark Mineralized Blush to my cheekbones, nose and forehead.)

How gorgeous is this color!? I think I applied a little too much. You can easily go over board with this so be careful! You only need a tad. It is super shimmery.

  3. Lilleogrl - You can buy Ben Nye at various places. http://www.stagemakeuponline.com, http://www.stagesupply.com... mostly theatrical supply/makeup sites. You can also buy stuff on ebay from a great gal by the name of funhousetheatrical. I actually just put in an order for a few things. I'll be posting about it soon. You can view the Ben Nye Catalog at http://www.bennye.com to see all of the products and colors.

  8. I found MUFE concealer too heavy for under my eyes. I prefer MAC's Select Moisturecover for under eye concealing. Hope that helps! :o)

  12. Natty your hair looks shorter in the pics... Do you use extensions?
You're stunning by the way ^_^

  13. La - it's because my hair is layered, and I only had the front half of my hair sitting on my shoulders. It gets longer in the back. I do wear extensions sometimes.

  14. Just commented on your post of this look on Specktra; just gorgeous! I would *definitely* purchase that MUFE foundation if I were you, it's perfection on your skin. I have yet to find a concealer better than L'Oreal's True Match Super Blendable Concealer. I have the same problem with creams covering but caking, and the LTMSBC is the best liquid ever. Covers great, really really creamy formula and never cakes. Check it out!
