The past couple of days..

Hey Guys!

I haven't posted, answered any questions on my formspring or comment box in the past few days because I was out of town for a few days and just came back yesterday. I ended up sleeping all day yesterday because I came down with a bad cold. I'm still feeling a little crummy today and will probably take a nap pretty soon.

George had to go to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for business.. and the same day we got there, happened to be the biggest blizzard in years. We still had a nice time though..

I was wearing MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation for the past few days and forgot how much I loved it. I haven't worn it in months.. but it is a really great foundation.

This was when we were stuck in the blizzard. There were three trucks trying to make a path for us so we could get through. The snow was over a foot high.. and the winds were so heavy we could barely see in front of us.

We did get stuck on a side street for a little bit.. but my car was a champion and made it through. lol

This was when we got back to the hotel and parked in the garage. There was SO much wind it was blowing the snow everywhere.
George was checking out the view.. lol
Here I am exhausted...

Luckily the roads were all clear by the morning..

We went for lunch at a Japanese Restaurant called "Kiku". It was absolutely delicious! If you live in the Milwaukee area.. I definitely recommend you to try it out!
There are so many different menu choices and pictures of everything. That was my strawberry smoothie by the way.. delish!
Philadelphia Rolls.. Yum! How pretty is the presentation?
I had Chicken Teriyaki and George had beef over noodles. I don't think I've ever had such a big plate presented to me in my life. lol The food was soo good! Everything was very flavorful and fresh.

That's pretty much it! I'll get to any unanswered questions now and work on some reviews I've been meaning to post.. :) Talk to you all soon! <3

I'm sorry you're sick. I am sick, too. DayQuil and I are BFFs. LOL!

That food looks SO good! I hate seafood, so sushi is a no go for me. Chicken teriyaki, on the other hand, is delicious! Your smoothie made me crave one. LOL!

  20. I'm over a year behind, but I was flipping through your old posts and recognized the city. I'm from MKE! Will be adding Kiku to my list, my husbands and my favorite sushi restaurant closed about a year ago :(

Let me know if you're ever back, I'd be happy to recommend some amazing restaurants!
