MAC Jazzed Lipstick Review, Swatches and Comparisons!

jazzed lipstick review

Mac Jazzed Lipstick

MAC Jazzed Lipstick is a limited edition lipstick from the 2010 Summer (In the Groove) Collection. I bet a lot of you are surprised that I never owned Jazzed considering it's a lipstick that's in my favorite shade category.. haha!

Jazzed is a medium, vibrant coral-peach with a shiny finish. Temptalia describes it as-
"a cross between Ravishing and Vegas Volt–not as peach/orange as Ravishing, but not as bright as Vegas Volt. It’s not too warm, so I think cooler skin tones can wear this well. This is not like Ever Hip–this is peach, orange, but not pink, which Ever Hip most definitely is."

MAC Jazzed Lipstick on my lips

From Left to Right: MAC Jazzed, MAC Everhip, YSL Rouge Volupte Tender Peach and Wet n Wild Mega Matte 903C Just Peachy.

It's quite ridiculous how similar these lipsticks photographed. It literally looks like I swatched the same lipstick four times. Like Temptalia mentioned, Jazzed is indeed more coral/peach as Everhip is more coral/pink. Though Everhip and Jazzed are both Cremesheens, Jazzed is more creamy & pigmented. I find Everhip to be be extremely sheer.. and I have to rub it across my lips a million times to get decent pigmentation. Everytime I use it, I fear I'm going to break the lipstick off of the base because of how many times I have to run it across my lips. I actually prefer Jazzed over Everhip in color as well. YSL and Wet n Wild again have a stronger pink tone.

  5. Hey Natty, haven't been on your blog in forever. I LOVE pink lips (of course, in neutral shades that are flattering on my brown skin.) Mac and revlon make some excellent ones! Hope all is well!

  9. @As a reply to your comment, i could do a full on review if you wish, i am planning to do an eyebrow post since i have such thin eyebrows. There is a brow crayon on one side, and on the other imagine a mini shadestick that you use under your brow to highlight. A bit gimmicky but it's quite nice if you are on the go. Also i find the texture smoother and more longlasting than MAC!

  10. Elly - That sounds great! I always like looking for new brow products.. mine grow so odd. Once I'm done tweezing them, they are fairly thin.

    Thanks for your reply!!

  11. I have tried everything and the only thing that works is pencil them in and then use a brow wax to set them, it kind of plumps them in my opinion and makes them look fuller if that makes sense haha.

  20. Wow! I love this color! I've got something similar to it that's from Bobbi Brown in 'Carnation' and I've been purchasing it over and over again! It's one of my favorite lipsticks!
