Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer in Light + Comparison to Medium!

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer

I reviewed Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer last month, and since then it has been my favorite concealer for full coverage. It gives the most coverage of any concealer I own and it doesn't budge or cake throughout the day. I was fortunate enough to get a hold of the last tube of the shade Medium on the rack last month at Wal-mart, and since then, I've visited other Wal-marts to purchase Light with no luck. Until my latest grocery trip, I was ecstatic to see there was one last tube of Light left on the rack. I picked that baby up, and I've been using it daily since.

Hand swatch of "Light"
Light is a pale ivory with a pink undertone, whereas Medium has a yellow-olive undertone. Although Light is too light to be used on it's own for my skintone, I like to mix it with some of my other concealers to add additional coverage or to lighten any that are too dark.

When I mix Light and Medium, I get a color that's perfect for my skintone right now - a light/medium golden beige. Because the color choices for Glamoflauge are limited (Light, Meidum and Tan), some may find that light is too light, medium is too dark, and so on. So you may have to do a bit of mixing.

Swatches from Left to Right: Light, Medium, 50% Light mixed with 50% Medium.
After purchasing this concealer, I'm pretty confident in saying that I can toss all of my other concealers. If you're able to get your hands on a tube, I highly recommend you to try it!

Hard Candy Glamoflauge is sold at Wal-mart stores for $6.

  7. I personally love this concealer! Ppl were saying it's a dupe for Kat Von D's tattoo concealer, but I actually found it to be better (and much MUCH cheaper!).

  14. Great review! I try to stick to natural products but can't find a concealer to cover up my acne and scars on a bad day. I will have to give this a shot even though it is far from natural lol! xo

  15. What types of powders do you use to set it? I love the coverage but I can't find a good powder to set it with. It always creases on my under my eyes and seems to fade throught the day when I use it on my old acne scars. HELP!!! ANYONE!!! I have two types of this stuff (medium and tan) and I don't want to throw them out. I miss both together and get a great shade match.

  16. I love the coverage of this concealer but it always seems to fade on my problem areas and it creases under my eyes. Are there any suggestions on how to keep this concealer from disappearing or creasing?
