I haven't done a tutorial in a while, so I thought I'd share with you one of my go-to looks when going out. It may seem like a lot of steps, but it's actually very simple, and it takes me all about five minutes to do. You can step it up a notch for night-time wear by adding false lashes and/or liner on the waterline, or you can tone it down for day-time wear by subtracting the outer-v color and liner.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer (used in step 1)

DeleteWoodwinked is awesome! I sometimes use Tempting in place of Woodwinked for a darker eye, but woodwinked is a really great shade for every day. I definitely agree it's a shade that looks great on it's own!

ReplyDeleteHow do I put this on channel on youtube? I use the same colors and learning.
ReplyDeleteNatalie. I love this color on you and I have ordered over 2 grand in make-up and face serums from Sephora and have over 200 shades and still buying more. I use the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer and Estee Lauder foundation "Tawney" color, can you tell me the name of whom makes the pallet that you use? I have bought several more colors trying to reach the gold look, have a couple that is close but either to sparkly, to deep of gold or to lite. I'd like to order the pallet you have there, we actually look much alike :) But I need to know who the maker is and the pallet color. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog, and it is have complete tutorial. I love this eye make up of yours, I am totally gonna try it for my graduation party.
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to upload a picture of me, it says to large, even sent it to paint shop to shrink it and it still won't upload. Any Ideas?
ReplyDeleteWow, finally, went through Google, Natalie and i look somewhat alike. Natalie, I have searched for the colors you use by Mac and found one, what is the name of the pallet where I can order it, have over 2 grand in Sephora but I LOVE this look on you!
ReplyDeleteI have bought many eye shadow colors, I don't use nothing but Sephora, Mac, and a few other name brands, her eyes are beautiful, the MAC Woodwinked Eyeshadow is more of a medium brown than a gold, in many pictures online the colors aren't the same, I ordered all colors as she stated and returned all but the MAC Woodwinked Eyeshadow, I went to my local Wal-Mart and bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Eye Shadow in the Eternal Sunshine and boom there it was the best gold I've ever found. This is a great color and matches well with the MAC Woodwinked Eyeshadow and follow her other steps as I actually got the look as pictured. Using the L'Oreal as with almost any brand name add a touch of water to your brush over an eye primer, I sue Urban Decay and it will last 24 hours, I have ordered 6 more colors in the L'Oreal Eternal Sunshine as if they ever discounted it I'd really be lost, own many shades even brand name golds and nothing compares to it, I now have the look as shown in picture. Thank you Natalie, I watch your tutorial often as practice makes perfect! Here is where I found the gold. http://www.walmart.com/ip/L-Oreal-Paris-Infallible-Eye-Shadow/19416505 LOVE, LOVE, buy the MAC Woodwinked Eyeshadow goes perfect and follow her steps! <3
ReplyDeleteI love how you step by step each tutorial. Can you do one for a natural look?
ReplyDeleteWhat is the gold color you used?? Gorgeous!!
