Make Up Forever #10 HD Creme Blush Review!

Make Up For Ever #10 HD Blush

Make Up For Ever #10 HD Blush

Make Up Forever HD Creme Blush ($25) is a lightweight, cream blush that is uniquely dispensed in a small, plastic pump tube.

Make Up For Ever HD Blush is available in (14) shades: #1 Innuendo, #2 Caught in the Act, #3 Truth or Dare, #4 Walk of Shame, #5 Nip Slip, #6 Quickie, #7 One too Many, #8 PDA, #9 In the Spotlight, #10 Skinny Dipping, #11 Mistaken Identity, #12 First Kiss, #13 Smooth Talker and #14 Star Struck.

#10 Skinny Dipping is described on the website as a light, orange brown. It also has a hint of rosy-red in there. I'd describe it as a warm, spicy terracotta. A very flattering color for medium/tan skin tones.

MAC Improvise Mineralize Blush Review, Photos and Swatches!

mac improvise blush

MAC Improvise Mineralize Blush

MAC Improvise Mineralize Blush is a limited edition baked, mineralize blush released in the MAC Colour Craft '09 Collection. Improvise is described as a mid-tone neutral coral with light white yellow gold veining. When combined, a frosty pale, pinky-peach is created. It can be worn as a light blush, yet it's light enough to be worn as a highlight.

Although Improvise looks beautiful on it's own, I love layering it over blushes - especially peach and coral toned blushes; such as MAC Coppertone or Gingerly.

The texture of Improvise is very nice. I own a few mineralize blushes, and they are all soft and smooth, but Improvise is especially soft and easy to work with.

MAC Eversun Beauty Powder Blush Review!

mac eversun blush review

MAC Eversun Beauty Powder Blush

MAC Eversun Beauty Powder Blush ($18) is described as a neutral peach bronze with gold pearl. It's one of the two (along with On a Mission) Beauty Powder Blushes released in the '09 Style Warriors Collection.

I received this blush in a swap, but you might be able to find this blush at your local Cosmetic Comany Outlet.

This is one of those blushes that replaces the need for a bronzer. Just a little over my cheeks, and it gives my skin a nice, warm glow. It's great for minimal makeup looks, and for smokey eye looks, as it's not goig to overpower the face.

Beauty Powders are typically softer than MAC's standard blushes, and Eversun is no exception. It's finely milled, and soft to the touch, making it very easy to blend on the cheeks.

NARS Lovejoy & Albatross Powder Blushes Review!

NARS Albatross and Lovejoy Blushes

Lovejoy is a beautiful, shimmering bronzed rose. When applied, it instantly adds definition and warmth to my face.

The pigmentation is amazing, and you only need a light touch of the brush for a natural flush of color. Because it's so pigmented, using a duo fiber brush works best and lightly dabbing the powder across the cheeks.

This shade particularly goes really well with my tan skin tone, and I highly recommend it for medium, olive and tan skin tones! This is now one of my favorite blushes!

Albatross is a sheer, light golden powder used for highlighting the cheeks/face.

I'm not going to lie - Albatross looks a bit intimidating in the pan. Nars is known for providing some really pigmented blushes, so I had always assumed Albatross was going to be a pigmented, frosty white (in which I could use any of my white loose pigments). But, don't let the looks of it fool you. If you look closely, you'll see that it has a golden-yellow pearl.

When applied to the face, it goes on as a sheer, golden yellow sheen. It gives a very nice glow to the cheeks without looking shimmery or frosty. It's great for highlighting the top of the cheekbones, and it looks great layered over blushes.

A little goes a long way - my favorite way to apply this powder is with a fan or duo fiber brush.

Kim Kardashian's makeup artist uses Albatross to give Kim a radiant glow. She's wearing it in the photo below, across her cheekbones and it looks like she may be wearing it heavily on her neck.

Here are a couple pictures of myself I took in the car last night. I was wearing Lovejoy & Albatross. If you wanna know what was on my whole face, post a comment :)

Nars Blushes retail for $28 and can be purchased at Sephora.
