MAC Hue Lipstick Review, Photos and Swatches!

mac hue lipstick

MAC Hue Lipstick

MAC Hue Lipstick is described as a soft, pale pink. I'm surprised with how pigmented the color is, considering it's a glaze. With a swipe or two, you'll have a natural, soft wash of pink on your lips that is very buildable if you'd prefer a more opaque look. The finish is a bit shiny, so I don't really need a lipgloss on top for added moisture and shine.

Because my undertone is warm, I have a difficult time finding pinks that will suit my skintone. Pinks that are too neutral wash me out completely and cool pinks look very odd on me. Hue is a bit on the warmer side, so it's a pink that's easy to wear. Also, because it can be worn sheer, it's a great every day color.

NYX Pumpkin Pie Round Lipstick Review!

nyx pumpkin pie lipstick review

NYX Pumpkin Pie Lipstick

NYX Pumpkin Pie Round Lipstick is a creamy, warm pink with a hint of coral and pink shimmer. It reminds me a lot of MAC Shygirl Lipstick, which happens to be my all time favorite lipstick!

As with most NYX Round Lipsticks, the formula is creamy and smooth. It's not particularly moisturizing, but it's not very drying either. Pumpkin Pie has sheer coverage with one swipe, but is buildable to medium coverage.

NYX Vintage Sheer Lipgloss

NYX Vintage Sheer Tube Gloss is a light, creamy pink. It looks very coral, almost neon in the tube, but applies completely different. It is indeed sheer but buildable.

The consistency is thin, creamy and non-sticky. It also has a notable grape scent. It doesn't bother me much.

Upcoming Posts.. + A couple of B-day pics!

Hey Everyone! Yes, I went M.I.A again. This past month has been super busy. In about a week, I'm going on vacation to Las Vegas with my love and his family for 3 weeks. Originally, I was suppose to go to California for a few days to go to IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show @ the Pasadena Center) and then drive to Vegas from there. The arrangements got a little messed up and It looks like It would be impossible for me to make it to IMATS. *Sigh* I'm a little upset about it. I know, no big deal.. and it's probably nothing crazy but I really had my heart set on going and I even made a list of what I was going to purchase lol. Oh well. So this month has basically consisted of me getting prepared for vacation and spending time with my family, friends and etc. Also, It was my 22nd birthday on June 2nd.. where does time go!? That was already over two weeks ago and I still feel like I'm 17. Anyways, I have lots of posts I'd like to do before I leave.. I hope I can get to all of them!! Kardashian Tanning Gel?

Kardashian Glamour Tan Self Tanning Gel

I didn't know the Kardashian sisters had launched a tanning line until I was searching the editors picks on Sephora.com. Apparently it hit stores on May 19th and there are already several reviews. The price is $34. Eh, a little over priced if you ask me. But, it is a little tempting.. considering I'm a self tan fanatic. The reviews are mixed.. but overall pretty good. I may pick up a tube this week.

Product Info:
- A clear, odorless, non staining self tanning gel that allows you to get a glamourous and natural bronze tan for the face and body without dangerously exposing yourself to the sun. Not only does this gel deliver a natural looking tan, but its designed to uniquely moisturize with antioxidants and vitamin D.

Interesting. I have a strong feeling this stuff is going to be like Jergen's Natural Glow.. they state that there are no harsh chemicals.. but chemicals in self tanner is not really an issue to me. I can deal with self tanner odor as long as I get a nice, browned tan. Also, not sure about the colorless aspect.. I think when its colorless, its easier to miss a spot. I'm still debating whether to pick this up or not. I probably will anyway. But, $34?? Come on Kardashians.. I love you guys and all.. but your name isn't that big to be charging that much.
What are your thoughts??
